Moving from Afghanistan to Australia in 2015, founder Sita Nabizada quickly noticed a gap in the community for authentic Afghan cultural foods. With a deep love for baking and a spark of entrepreneurship, Sita launched Afghan Traditional Sweets in late 2017 with just a small marquee, a table, and a few homemade treats. Nearly six years on, Afghan Traditional Sweets has become a well-loved name across Queensland.
